<p>The outer door panel has raised rims locating the inner insulating panel, with foam insulation between panels. Extension flanges (2) on each corner moulding (1) bear against the rims. All mouldings are identical, with two parallel sockets (3) closed by thin membranes (12). On the hinge side, corresponding top and bottom sockets receive hollow cylindrical hinge-pin bushings, with ends flattened to seat on flats within the socket end. Before foam injection, membranes (12) on unoccupied sockets are broken to permit air displacement via slots (11) in the socket walls.</p> |
