PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for connection-extra-length fiber storage for the optical fiber cable which improve the storage efficiency of ribbons of optical fibers although the ribbons of optical fibers can be curved to less than a certain radius without being strained by more than allowed by eliminating the need for many connection-extra-length fiber storage bodies, eliminating an increase in the size of the whole connection part and the complexity of structure, and preventing deterioration in operability. SOLUTION: In extra-length storage trays 19 provided as many as the units of a ribbon of unit bodies (g) of an optical fiber cable (j), the ribbon (f) of tape unit bodies (g) is inserted and connected while divided. After the ribbon of optical fiber connection parts are fixed on a protection plate 27, the ribbon (f) of optical cables of connection-extra-length is wound by a guide part to more than a specific size and stored in the extra-length storage trays 19. |
