PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically clear the bill of a delivered software in the service of vending the software through a communication line. SOLUTION: The designer of software up loads a main body registration file and a money transfer procedure file through a communication network to a host computer. The host computer registers this information into a contents data base 81 and when a delivery request is received from a user, charging/ delivery is performed corresponding to the type of software. In the case of shareware, for example, the drop of price from account and the cancel of function limitation are simultaneously performed in place of the information of money transfer procedure file. Besides, the host computer can variously set prices by storing a price file describing the algorithm of price decision. |
