摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the altitude of an airframe using a signal available from an ordinarily mounted instrument without use of a large-sized expensive altimeter by detecting a target direction, evaluating a flying distance for a predetermined time, and estimating the altitude from the target direction and the flying distance. SOLUTION: An output signal of an angle detector 3 includes error of an attitude angle so that a bias correction circuit 8 corrects a preset attitude angle and estimates a target angle 9 (θ1 ,θ2 ), and stores it in a memory circuit 10. A writ/read control circuit 12 reads a signal from the memory circuit 10 based upon a signal from a timer 7, and sends target angles at two different times to an altitude estimation circuit 11. Simultaneously, an integration circuit 13 integrates a flying speed previously set in a speed set circuit 14 with a time difference between two different times available from the timer 7 and estimates a flying distance L16 and sends it to the altitude estimation circuit 11. The altitude estimation circuit 11 estimates the altitude H15 using the formula.
