<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the array substrate for display device and its production method which reduce the capacity fluctuation in the crossing area between wirings even in the case of a high definition and prevent signal line disconnection defects to secure satisfactory display characteristics. SOLUTION: With respect to the array substrate for display device, picture element electrodes are arranged with at least an inter-layer insulating film 127, which is arranged on a signal line 110, between them, and a semiconductor layer 120 coinciding with the outline of the signal line 110 is interposed in the crossing area between a scannning line 111 and the signal line 110 on the upper side, and a conductive layer 132 formed simultaneously with picture element electrodes is arranged on the signal line 110 with the inter-layer insulating film 127 between them, and the signal line 110 and the conductive layer 132 are electrically connected through a contact hole for about one picture element.</p> |
