PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to prevent an additional member from dropping even from an existing luminaire. SOLUTION: This luminaire comprises a base member 1 secured to a ceiling surface or the like by bolts 4 and an additional member 2 attached to the base member 1. Connecting members 32 connected to the bolts 4 are connected to the additional member 2 by hanging cords 30. The hanging cords 30 are not connected to the base member 1 but to the bolts 4 used for fixing the base member 1, so the connected parts of the hanging cords 30 are not required at the base member 1.
