PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deformation of a pipe to be connected and prevent the slip-off of the pipe positively without increasing pressure loss of a fluid. SOLUTION: A tapered face 2 is formed at the inner surface of a joint body, and a slip-off stopper member 4 is mounted to the tapered face 2. A seal part to a pipe B to be connected is formed on the inner side of the slip-off stopper member 4. In a pipe joint A of such constitution, the axial width dimension of the contact face of the slip-off stopper member 4 with the pipe B is to correspond to an expression: X>D.sinθ.cosθ./4, where X is the axial width dimension of the contact face of the slip-off stopper member with the pipe, D is the outer diameter of the pipe, andθis an angle of the tapered face to the axis of the pipe.
