A ladle slag containing Al2O3 20-50wt.%, CaO 30-55wt.%, SiO2 15wt.%, MgO 15wt.%, MnO 15wt.%, P2O5 1wt.%, T= Fe 20wt.%, and S 0.05wt.% as a converter flux was put in a converter for blow refining. The impurities and carbon in molten steel were removed by blowing the oxygen. The Al2O3 content in slag after blow refining have to be controlled to 8wt.%
