Applicator for surgical clips

The applicator has a housing (12) which has jaws (2) at the front end for applying the clips. A slider (6) slides the clips up to the jaws which are coupled to an operating mechanism. A magazine stores the clips within the housing, together with a mechanism for separating the clips. The slider has a pusher that releases individual clips. It is moved by the jaws in relation to the pusher from the delivery position to the jaws as the jaws move.
