Stamped and folded limb-piece for switching cabinet frame structure

The sections (12) to be joined together are coated, before or during the stamping and bending process, with hardenable plastic adhesive (50). The material is cut from e.g. a coiled strip (40') of sheet metal and coated with a two-component metallic adhesive which after being hardened is heat-resistant. Rows of fixing holes (19,20,23,24) are arranged in a systematic pattern. A partial folding operation leaves a straight portion in the centre with bends (32,33) and short straights (34,37;35,36) for strengthening. The free ends of the side sections (15,17) are finally folded and brought together into the adhesive.
