MULTI-PACK CARRIER FOR BOTTLES

A carrier (1 or 51) is provided for carrying a plurality of bottles such as, but not limited to, long-necked bottles. The carrier can be formed as a box-top (1) or sleeve (51) carrier, the sleeve carrier having a bottom panel (59) defining openings (77) which are concentric with apertures (65, 67) in a top panel (53). The carrier may be provided with a release mechanism to facilitate removal of the bottles from the carrier. In one form, the release mechanism includes release tabs (103) extending between columns of the apertures of the top panel and release openings (105) formed between the apertures in the top panel.
