FIELD: machining tools. SUBSTANCE: tools may be used in metal working and other fields for cutting difficult-to-work material and parts with large surfaces to be worked when change of tool affects the product quality, in particular, tools whose cutting part rotates under the effect of friction forces with machined material, and at stable self-rotation, cutting edge parts being in contact with working material, change continuously that considerably reduced temperature in zone of cutting and increases tool serviceability by dozens times as compared with known cutters. Cutter has holder where carbide working member is installed to freely rotate in support. Working member is made in the form of hard-alloy working ring whose outer diameter exceeds its inner diameter by 2.5-3.5 times. Installed on peripheral part of holder, coming in contact with end face of hard-alloy working ring symmetrically to holder longitudinal axis and flush with holder is hard-alloy working member. Holder is made of two parts: head and shank connected to each other for fixed turning round longitudinal axis. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg |
