The capillary viscosimeter has at least five same type capillaries (1) with a dia. of 0.2-2 mm, above 10 mm long, and arranged in parallel to each other. Each capillary at its top end is provided respectively with a separate sample reception chamber (3). The cross section of the chamber amounts to a multiple of the capillary dia. Each top end communicates with the atmosphere. The other end of each capillary is connected respectively to a lower hollow chamber (2). Each individual lower hollow chamber is connected with the atmosphere, across a closeable path. The connection of the lower hollow chamber to the atmosphere, is opened or closed by a common slider. The capillary walls are transparent. Each capillary is designed in a definite distance to the sample reception with an optical or electrical signal transmitter, for the passage of the meniscus.
