Neighbourhood monitoring and planning method for fixed stations of cellular telephone network

The method involves a cellular network with fixed stations and mobile transmission devices. The method conducts a functional neighbourhood observation and predefines a pattern for the territory to be observed and planned. The global neighbourhood observation and/or planning are based on individual local neighbourhood observations for each point on the pattern. The local neighbourhood (9) observations involve the use of selected functional parameters (2), preferably the field strength (3) of the fixed station which is determined by a field strength prediction algorithm.
