PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely facilitate ablation and hemostasis of a living body tissue by providing a photo-permeable material part for securing an endoscopic view in the hood body and a means for performing incision and coagulation of the living body tissue. SOLUTION: A transparent hood 5 is provided with a nearly cylindrical fixed hood 7 that is locked at the tip end of an inner cylinder 3 and with a movable hood 8; and it is also formed of a transparent material such as an acrylic resin and glass. A near wedge shaped pressing part 15 is formed at the tip end of the movable hood 8, with a first and a second electrodes 17, 18 attached to an edge 16 of its tip end. In addition, a high-frequency galvanocautery current is flowed between the first and the second electrodes 17, 18, to form a bipolar means for performing incision and coagulation on the living body tissue. Furthermore, a cord 19 connected to both the electrodes 17, 18 is put through between an inner cylinder 3 and an outer cylinder 4, guided outside through a cord inserting hole 20 formed on the rear end outer circumferential face of the outer cylinder 4, and connected to a power source unit for supplying the high-frequency galvanocautery current. |
