PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct sound generation and change effect by correcting sound generation data according to sound generation correction information which is inputted from an operator when the sound generation data in musical performance data are read out in order and sound generation processing is performed. SOLUTION: A ROM 2 is stored with timbre parameters, a frequency information table, and music data in addition to a control program, and a panel circuit 5 detects changes of the states of various switches for timbre selection, etc., and plural wheel operators and generates panel event information to interrupt a CPU 1. Further, a DCO 7 of a sound source circuit 6 reads a musical sound waveform out of a waveform memory in sequence at address intervals proportional to a pitch to be sounded and performs interpolative operation to output a musical sound signal, a DCF 8 performs filter processing for the output signal with frequency characteristics corresponding to a specified timbre and specified effect, and a DCA 9 multiplies the result by an envelope signal. Therefore, the timbre, sound volume, interval or various effects can optionally be controlled by operating the wheel operators during a musical performance. |
