<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball having a good hitting feel and controllability and having excellent flying performance. SOLUTION: The base material resin of a cover 2 of the golf ball is formed of a mixture composed of a resin (A), a resin (B) and a resin (C). The Shore hardness D thereof is adjusted to 60 to 65 and the bending rigidity to 2000 to 2500kgf/cm<2> . The resin (A) is a univalent or bivalent metal salt of a copolymer of ethylene and acrylic acid or methacrylic acid having the Shore hardness D of 65 to 70 and the bending rigidity of 3000 to 4500kgf/cm<2> . The resin (B) is a univalent or bivalent metal salt of a copolymer of ethylene and acrylic acid or methacrylic acid having the Shore hardness D of 55 to 65 and the bending rigidity of 1300 to 3000kgf/cm<2> . The resin (C) is a univalent or bivalent metal salt of a ternary copolymer of ethylene, acrylic acid or methacrylic acid and acrylate or methacylate having the Shore hardness D of 50 to 60 and the bending rigidity of 700 to 1300kgf/cm<2> .</p> |
