PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb selectively only oil from mixed solution of oil and water by a method wherein a unit oil absorbed quantity is much, and leakage of absorbed oil is little. SOLUTION: An oil absorbable sheet is provided wherein a carrier sheet carrying powdery oil absorbing resin in a base material is impregnated with silicone-based-repellent agent or paraffin water repellent agent, or it is applied thereto. The oil absorbing sheet is preferably impregnated with 0.5-3wt.% by solid wt. to the wt. of the oil absorbing sheet, or it is applied thereto. The maximum pore diameter measured by a bubble point method specified in ASTM F-316-80 is at most 100μm.
