PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid entrapment of air between a tape base body and a coating layer, to avoid deformation of the coating layer and to form the coating layer at an accurate position when the coating layer is formed on the tape base body by using an extruder. SOLUTION: A channel 11a with approximately the same width as that of a tape base body T and the same depth as the thickness of the tape base body T is formed on a transferring roll 11 being rotated and the tape base body T is made to run by winding the tape base body T in this channel 11a and a die lip 32a of a die 32 of a mold apparatus 20 is faced and opened to the winding part of the transferring roll 11 for this tape base body T. Then, an edge dam member 22 which is brought into sliding contact with a die lip 32a forming face of the die 32 on the more back side in the tape running direction V from the opening position of this die lip 32a, is provided by urging it by means of a spring 25 and the slide contact face 22a of the apex of this edge dam member 22 is brought into freely slidingly close contact with the peripheral face of the transferring roll 11. |
