A device for the measurement of an angle of bending of an edge (8) of a polygonal sheet of metal (7), particularly for a machine for programmable bending on all the sides of the sheet (7), comprises actuators (39) apt to bring a bending blade (3, 4), without thrust, against the bent edge (8) and detectors (36, 37, 38) apt to measure the angle of rotation of the blade (3, 4).
