PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a weather strip from being deformed into a wave-like form when the weather strip is mounted to the flange part of the window lower part structure of the door of an automobile or after it is mounted. SOLUTION: In the window lower part structure of the door of an automobile, a part between a flange part 16 and a door window glass 18 is sealed by a weather strip 10 fixed to a door trim 14 bent in the window lower edge of the door of the automobile. The weather strip 10 is provided with a fixation part 22 fixed to the flange part, glass strips 30, 32 projecting on a door window glass side from the fixation part, projection part 26 projecting in the direction opposite to the door window glass in the lower end of the fixation part and extending beyond the lower edge of the flange part, a core metal 28 buried from the fixation part to the projection and having the cross section of a nearly L-shaped form and a bent part in accordance with the bend of the flange part. |
