<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the decrease in a working efficiency and increase the airtightness of a communication cable closure by forming ring-shaped ribs on an outer surface of a cylindrical body of the largest outer diameter of a grommet. SOLUTION: Inner holes g7-g11 of a first, a second, a third, a fourth, and a fifth cylindrical body g1-g5 of different outer diameters serve for communication cable lead-in holes g7-g11, each of which will be led in into a communication cable closure. On an outer surface of the first cylindrical body g1 of the largest outer and inner diameters, a plurality of ring-shaped ribs g12 which have nearly the same height are formed along the circumferential direction. By forming the ring-shaped ribs g12 which can be pressure-welded to an inner surface of a grommet housing section of the communication cable closure, the airtightness of the communication cable closure can be increased.</p> |
