PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously achieve the lowering of coherence and the stabilization of exciting electric power by injecting output light of an optical coupler into an optical fiber using a multiplexer and by connecting and disposing reflectors between an exciting light source and the optical coupler, said reflectors having wavelength characteristics to have a plurality of reflectance peak wavelengths. SOLUTION: A plurality of exciting light sources 1, 2 generate the exciting light for exciting optical fibers 7, 8 to which a laser active material is added. That generated exciting light injected into a multiplexing/demultiplexing optical coupler 4 and the output light from the optical coupler 4 is injected into optical fiber 7, 8 via multiplexers 5, 6. Further, reflectors 15, 16 are connected and disposed between an exciting light source 1, 2 and the optical coupler 4, said reflectors having wavelength characteristics to have a plurality of reflectance peak wavelengths. Thus, the lowering of coherence and the stabilization of exciting electric power are achieved simultaneously. |
