<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operationality by making the size of a console of a computer small used for monitoring centralizingly a plant with cameras placed at each location. SOLUTION: A monitor camera capable of zooming and swing control is placed respectively in rooms 01-04 of a plant, a video signal of each camera is lagged by a computer, the computer controls the cameras. A control panel CP0 representing the arrangement of rooms of the entire plant is displayed on a CRT screen with a touch panel 62 for a console as a main menu M at first, and a window menu W1 of the room 01 is displayed as shown in Fig. (A) by designating a designation switch, e.g. SR1 in a room in the menu, a video panel VP1 representing a video image of the camera of the room 01 and the control panel CP1 of the camera are displayed, and the camera is controlled by a universal head control switch SU (SU1-SU4) and zooming control switches SK1, SK2 in the control panel CPI. Furthermore, a window menu W2 is displayed as shown in Fig. (B) by depressing a room designation switch SR2.</p> |
