PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a replacing operation of a photoreceptor unit easy, and to prevent a break of a transfer drum during the operation, by pulling out either one of the photoreceptor unit or the transfer unit, while containing the other unit intact inside the device frame body. SOLUTION: This device is constituted that on opening a front door of a printer, respective front side end part of the photoreceptor unit 2 and the transfer unit 3 is severally disclosed, therefore these units 2 and 3 can be immediately pulled out by only opening the front door, and the replacing operation of the units 2 and 3 can be performed. Moreover, a transfer drum 31 is supported at its rotary shaft by the transfer unit 3 across a swing frame not shown in the figure, and the transfer drum 31 is set in a stand-by position by turning a handle 4 disposed on the front surface of the unit 3. As a result, the units 2 and 3 can be pulled out from the frame 1, without damaging the photoreceptor drum 20 or the transfer drum 31. |
