<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always obtain a high-definition reproducing sound for a combination head provided independently with a recording head and a reproducing head by eliminating the phase deviation at the time of reproduction and realizing the satisfied state without making the touch of tape against the head depend on the assembling accuracy of the reproducing head. SOLUTION: The reproducing head 2 is composed of a thin film head prepared on the tape running surface without arranging a separate member for protecting a head gap part formed with a thin film. For the recording head 1, a pad 5 in a cassette half is abutted through the tape at the time of recording/reproducing operation, but the thin film reproducing head 2 is arranged at the position not abutting on the pad 5 even at the time of recording/reproducing operation. The excellent reproducing performance is obtained without generating the phase lag depended on the reproducing frequency because no coil component is provided in the reproduicng head, and the device is constituted so that the high-definition sound is secured by the stable tape running independently of the positional relation between a top of the radius shape of the head tip and the head gap, because the member protecting the thin film part is not provided in the head.</p> |
