PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator ventilation device capable of reducing oily smell in a cage of a hydraulic elevator. SOLUTION: An elevator ventilation device in which a ventilation fan 5 for sucking air into a passenger cage 1 is arranged at a ceiling 4 of the passenger cage is operated such that when a certain call occurs for the elevator, the ventilation fan 6, there is provided an air discharging circuit for rotating the ventilation fan 5 at a predetermined cycle so as to discharge air in the passenger cage 1 for a predetermined time in the case that a call for the elevator is not present for a predetermined time and the elevator waits for a person.
