PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed nonaqueous secondary battery in which the internal continuity of the battery can be perfectly interrupted in the initial stage of battery internal pressure rise even when an abnormality such as overcharge or short-circuit occurs. SOLUTION: A current interrupting body forming a sealing body is formed of a layered structure of a first conducting body having a through-hole, an intermediate insulating body having a through hole in the center, and a second conducting body having a through hole. The first conducting body is electrically connected to the second conducting body in the center part, and the first continuing body has a thinned part around the central connecting part.
