PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector fixed plastic optical fiber with which the connector fixing force higher than the tensile yield point strength of paired fibers in spite of adhering and fixing a connector to the terminal parts of plastic optical fibers is obtainable and which is usable adequately particularly as a harness information communication medium for automobiles particularly under a high-temp. atmosphere. SOLUTION: The coating material of the resin protective layer part 3 adhered and fixed to the ferrule part 5 of the connector by an adhesive 4 consisting essentially of an epoxy resin of this connector fixed plastic optical fiber is composed of a block copolymer which consists of 30 to 55 pts.wt. component A selected from arom. polyester, polyamide and polyurethane and 70 to 15 pts.wt. component B selected from aliphat. or alicyclic polyether and polyester and has front surface Shore D hardness of 30 to 75.
