The bracket (74) is attached to the blade holder bridge (30) and has pins (80a,b and 82a,b) which register with the holes (84) in the ends of the deflector. Brackets joining the wiper blades to the deflectors vary the angle of attack of the deflectors as the blade holder articulates relative to the blade in passing across the screen. The deflector can be in two sections each with an individual fixing to the blade.
