<p>A feed screw including a screw shaft (1), a nut (2) meshed with the screw shaft (1), and a plurality of rolling members (3) inserted between the screw shaft (1) and the nut (2), wherein a solid film (5) of a fluorine-containing polyurethane polymer is formed on any portions in rolling/sliding contact. The molecules of this solid film (5) have urethane bonds, and form a three-dimensional reticular structure. Therefore, the film is unlikely to separate, peel off or wear. Accordingly, the feed screw produces less dust, improves lubricating property and thus elongates its life.</p> |
