The procedure entails fastening a stamping set (5) in the internal circumference of the cylindrical region (1b). The stamping set is extensible and contractible, and has a number of protrusions (3) which are formed complementary to the cross slots to be formed in the internal circumference of the cylindrical section. Next, the cylindrical region is pressed into the bore (8) of a drawing die with an opening area (9) at the front so that a drawing process can be carried out with regard to the outer element.
