The device has two peripherally spaced scrapers (7) directed against running surface and formed as arms of angle profile. The scrapers which are applied to the hard rubber running surface (2) of a vehicle wheel (6) rotating forwards and backwards, are formed from the arms (8) of an angle profile (9). Each arm in the free end area has on the inside a corresponding matched surface to the wheel contour (10). This surface forms with the arm outside a wedge-shaped profile of a blade type scraper. As a semi-finished product, an equal-armed angle profile (9) is selected, which is arranged on a wheel guide component (11) parallel to the wheel rotary axis (5). The scrapers are rigidly arranged via an angle profile fixed on the wheel guide component relatively to the vehicle wheel.
