<p>The inventive polymeric waterproofing membra- ne, having a considerably improved biaxial elongation, compared with conventional polymeric waterproofing mem- branes, and comprising a composite of an upper layer and a lower layer as well as an in between situated barrier layer, is characterized in that - the barrier layer is built up on the basis of at least one organic polymeric material, - the upper layer and the lower layer are built up on the basis of at least one of such an organic polymeric material, which has better mechanical charac- teristics in comparison to the in said barrier layer used organic polymeric material, - said upper layer and said lower layer are built up of the same or of different materials, - said organic polymeric material for the bar- rier layer is provided such, that it is not damaged on occasion of a biaxial elongation of the polymeric water- proofing membrane, and - that on occasion of a biaxial elongation of the polymeric waterproofing membrane no separation of the layers occurs. The inventive polymeric waterproofing membra- nes may be used - for the sealing, covering, coating, isolati- on of deposits and land-fills, which serve for the reception of liquid and solid wastes, - for the protection of waters and underground water as well as grounds and soils, and - for the protection of buildings and con- structions which are in contact with contaminated medi- ums.</p> |
