Column building element

The column acting as architectural components for walls is built from a combination of natural stone and concrete. The column is structured so that it has three parts, the base, the shaft and the capping stone. The base and the capping stone are composed of rough, unhewn natural stone such as boulders or suitably shaped broken pieces of stone or rock, which only need an insignificant amount of shape correcting work. The base and capping stone are connected to the shaft or post by a ring of concrete.
