Armoured roller blind e.g. for garage entrances, freight containers

The blind has pivoted battens (16) driven by a motor along guide rails (24) with the aid of a spring to control the tension. The motor and the spring are coaxial in a hollow shaft(30) which is driven round by the stationary motor. One end of the spring is attached inside one end of the shaft. At the ends the shaft has a gear wheel (34) to drive the roller blind. The spring drive encloses a rigid support rod and they are joined together at the free end of the spring. The shaft rotates about this rod. The shaft have two flanges inside which rotate about the rod and the spring sits between them over the rod.
