Use of dienogest for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of the skin by topical application

A hormonal agent for treating the skin is based on a pharmaceutical prepn. (I) consisting of an active agent, carriers and auxiliaries. (I), to be applied to the surface to be treated, contains as active agent the anti-androgenically active gestagen dienogest (A), opt. in combination with (B) a synthetic or natural oestrogen or phyto-oestrogen. Also claimed is a method of preparing a pharmaceutical prepn. (not restricted to (I)); see 'Preparation'.
