PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate position adjustment by automatically correcting a shift in engaging position between a carrier plate and a door glass side part with a variable adjusting device placed between the carrier plate and the door glass side part when an upper dead end position for pressing the door glass into a window frame is reached by the operation of a window regulator. SOLUTION: For work, first a door glass 8 is raised by operating the handle 24 of a window regulator 2 so as to reach an upper dead end position pressed to a door glass channel 10 in a window frame 4. Then, the door glass 8 is pressed by the channel 10, the leg part 34 of a slider is moved in the guide groove of a carrier plate 16 beyond the recessed and projecting parts 44a and 44b of both fasteners of a fastener engaging part 44 in a vehicle back and forth direction and engaged after an engaging position is corrected and transferred by an amount equivalent to its shift in the back and forth direction. Thus, a relative and proper engaging position between the channel 10 and the door glass is maintained by a first operation and correction second time after is made unnecessary. |
