PURPOSE:To improve operability by outputting automatically a specific pattern in response to time in a pattern output device such as a facsimile equipment. CONSTITUTION:In depressing a compliment addition key 9, an MPU 1 inputs a month day data from a count means 2 in the inside of the facsimile equipment and the MPU 1 selects a routine sentence in response to the month/ day data among routine sentences (such as compliment of season) stored in a memory 3. A character generator 4 outputs an image data, which is coded by a coding means 6 and the data stored in a buffer memory 7 are modulated by a MODEM 8 and sent via a line 10. When the sending of the image data of the routine sentence is finished, an original such as a letter is read by a scanner 5 and sent. Thus, the job time is reduced by the time of inventing a sentence such as compliment of season.
