PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device to certainly carry out blocking of a fuel current at the time when excessive fuel quantity flows out from an injector in a pressure accumulating type fuel injection system. SOLUTION: At the time when an injector repeats normal intermittent injection, a piston repeats reciprocal movement in a sliding hole of a cylinder body. At this time, behavior of the piston 58 is decided by force of the piston 58 to be pushed to the downstream side by differential pressure of inlet side pressure and outlet side pressure of the piston 58 varying in accordance with injection of the injector and energizing force of a compression coil spring 55. At the time when the injector injects excessive fuel quantity, differential pressure of inlet side pressure and outlet side pressure of the piston 58 becomes excessive, and as a ball 57 makes contact with a sheet part 72 against the compression coil spring 55 and joins it, a fuel passage is blocked. At this time, as the ball 57 uses a member comparatively low in hardness, the ball 57 is certainly fastened on the sheet part 72 by plastic deformation of the ball 57. |
