CEMENT DISPERSING AGENT, ITS PRODUCTION AND CEMENT COMPOSITION USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a cement dispersing agent which is a polycarboxylic acid-based polymer and excellent in slump retaining and water-reducing performances by specifying a molecular weight distribution thereof. SOLUTION: This cement dispersing agent consists essentially of (A) a polycarboxylic acid-based polymer or its salt. The weight-average molecular weight of the polymer (A) is within the range of 10,000-500,000 expressed in terms of polyethylene glycol according to a gel permeation chromatography and the value after subtracting the peak top molecular weight from the weight- average molecular weight is 0-8,000.
