摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce the generation rate of surface flaws of a transported material by coating a part of a transport apparatus for transporting a transported material such as a steel plate or the like that directly comes into contact with a transported material with a surface coating layer of polyurethane containing ceramic powder with a thickness of a specified range. SOLUTION: A transport apparatus, by which the generation of surface flaws of a transported material such as a steel plate or the like can be prevented, is so constructed that a surface coating layer 2 of an urethane rubber roll 1 is formed, and the surface coating layer 2 is formed by coating a surface coating layer of polyurethane containing ceramic powder with a thickness ranging from 30μto 100μ. Various kinds of ceramics such as Al2 O3 , Si3 N4 SiC and the like are used as the above ceramics. The coating is formed by applying a liquid polyurethane where 5-0volume% ceramic powder, for example, is mixed to a roll by a brush and then drying the above.
