PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the attaching work of an article to be cut and the spanning work of a wire to a groove roller, and at the same time, accelerate the cutting of the article to be cut by a processing liquid, and also, correspond with the increase of a wire speed by immediately and surely cooling a cut part. SOLUTION: An article 50 to be cut is moved downward by a vertically moving mechanism 7, and is brought into contact with a group of wires 6. At the same time, a container 8 is arranged under the group of wires 6 so as to be closer to them, and a processing liquid 60 is fed and filled in the container 8 by a liquid feeding mechanism 9 with liquid jetting nozzles 18, 19 and liquid feeding nozzles 20, 21. Then, when the article 50 to be cut comes into contact with the group of wires 6, the cutting is accelerated by the immersion of the group of wires 6 in the processing liquid 60 in the container 8, and the cut part is immediately cooled. |
