<p>A liquid distributor (1) for columns comprises liquid outlet apertures (12) with which fine distributor elements (3) each having a guide wall (5) are associated. A predetermined amount of fluid can be discharged through each outlet aperture into the fine distributor element. Each fine distributor element has a plate-shaped element (4) which is in contact with the guide wall and between whose edge (40) and the guide wall a communicating series of capillary openings forms a distribution and discharge region (45).
