PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently store a LAN being a packet exchange system in the bus or tree type common medium of a long distance by individually allocating transmission and reception logical channels to terminals and constituting the allocated logical channels in a loop among the terminals. SOLUTION: A means for individually allocating the transmission and reception logical channels to the terminals 52a-52c and a means for constituting the logical channels in the loop among the terminals are provided. A virtual loop network 53 is constituted among the terminals 52a-52c. In the respective terminals 52, information addressed to the respective terminals are loaded on a data stream on the virtual loop network 53, information addressed to the self terminals are extracted from the data stream on the virtual loop network 53 by a received information filter and information transmitted to the self terminals are abolished. Thus, plural transmission lines are physically and virtually constituted on the same transmission line and information can simultaneously be transmitted. |
