A plug strip 5 is secured to the edge of a printed circuit board at right angles to the plane of the board, the contacts of the strip being electrically connected, e.g. by soldering, to the printed circuit conductors: The strip is held in position by angle brackets which may pass through the board (Fig. 5, not shown) or be entirely on one side of the board. These brackets are held by rivets 6 and 7. The strip may have a polarizing plate 8 secured to it, and may be used for testing purposes.
