PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back-focal distance control type automatic focusing camera capable of coping with various photographing purposes, variably setting the maximum movable range of the rear part of the camera body for back-focal distance adjustment from the outside of the camera body, and further displaying a warning whether or not a movable range where in-focus is possible is set within a finder interlocked with the setting. SOLUTION: When the maximum movable adjusting range is set by a BF movable limit dial 18 provided on the back surface of the camera body or an upper cover, an optical axis unit B moves within the set maximum movable adjusting range at the time of in-focus. In the case the distance ring of the lens is badly adjusted and an appropriate in-focus position is deviated from the maximum movable adjusting range, the front focus or the rear focus warning display part of a warning display part 19 within the finder is flickered to give the warning. In the case the appropriate in-focus position is within the maximum movable adjusting range, an in-focus display part is lighted and operation is shifted to photographing operation. |
