PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable pixel density conversion by a projection method at low cost with a small circuit scale irrelevantly to conversion power. SOLUTION: This image processor which converts the pixel density of raster- scanned image data is provided with a 1st side length generation part 11 which generates 1st side length according to the length of a side of the image data in a horizontal scanning direction and the conversion power in the horizontal scanning direction, a 1st product sum arithmetic part 12 which calculates the sum of products of the 1st generated side length and image data, a 2nd side length generation part 13 which generates 2nd side length according to the length of the side of the image data in a vertical scanning direction and conversion power in the vertical scanning direction, and a 2nd product sum arithmetic part 14 which calculates the sum of products of the result of the product sum arithmetic and the 2nd side length. |
