PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the current that flows through a CMOS inverter circuit. SOLUTION: An inverter circuit includes an E type PMOS transistor TR 102 whose gate and drain are connected to an input terminal 106 and an output terminal 107 respectively, an E type NMOS TR 103 whose gate, drain and source are connected to the terminal 106, the terminal 107 and a ground power supply 112 respectively, and a D type NMOS TR 111 whose source, gate and drain are connected to the source of the TR 102, the power supply 112 and a power supply 104 respectively.
