PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid significant degradation of the riding comfort even in the case of the idle run and keep the tenacious control without deteriorating the acceleration performance. SOLUTION: In an individual control electric vehicle controller in which one or two AC motor(s) is (are) driven by one VVVF inverter, an idle run detector 7 which detects the idle run of the AC motor driven by one VVVF inverter and a flip-flop circuit 15 which is reset through an offdelay 11 if the idle run of the AC motor is detected by the detector 7 and supplies a gate-off instruction to the VVVF inverter are provided.
